2. Note, that you can't select large units, such as ARK, Dreadnought and buildings via rectangle selection. Just use Left Mouse Click for that.
3. If you would like to show fully functional RTS gameplay, I recommend to start from mission 4 “Deep Diving” or from skirmish mode. In the missions 2 and 9 only action gameplay is available. Just keep in mind that game is designed for peoples who want be focused on RTS gameplay and for peoples who want be focused on Action/tactics gameplay simultaneously. But you have options to choose what do you prefar:
Recommended Skirmish setup for fully functional RTS: Most suitable maps – Volcanic Island, Admirals Canyon Gameplay Mode – Classic, Resource Rush Starting State – Grounded ARK Logistic & Support – Everything
Recommended Skirmish setup if you don't want to build a lot: Most suitable maps – Frontier, Ore Belt Gameplay Mode – Classic/Survival Starting State – Bastion Logistic & Support – Nothing, Only Units, Only Buildings
